SECURING YOUR BOOKING

Credit/debit card details are required in order to secure your booking, and these are taken by phone, email or our secure online booking system. No payment is taken in advance, unless requested by a guest or in the event of a late cancellation (see below). We reserve the right to verify the validity of any card details given.

 

PAYMENT

Prices listed include accommodation and a Full English breakfast. Parking is not included (see below). Guests may settle their bill on arrival, at any time during their stay, or on departure. For non-refundable bookings, payment is taken upon receipt of your booking. We accept as payment: cash (GBP only); all major cards (no extra charges).

 

CANCELLATION

Guests may cancel or modify the dates of their booking up to 7 days prior to their stay without incurring any charges. Any cancellations or date modifications made with less than 7 days notice will be charged in full. Once your booking has been confirmed, it constitutes a legal contract. Cutting short your stay, or failing to take up your booking without proper cancellation renders you liable for the full amount. You may wish to take out cancellation insurance, which is available from several travel insurance brokers.

 

NON-AVAILABILITY

We would only cancel your booking if the accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. In this case, we will attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If this is not possible, or undesirable to you, we will issue a full refund. Our liability does not extend beyond this refund.

 

PARKING

Parking is available directly in front of the property at a charge of £3 per day. We guarantee parking for one car per room booked for the duration of your stay, up to the morning of departure. We cannot guarantee parking after your departure time. If you do require this, please inquire as early as possible, as we do allow this when space permits. Normal parking charges apply. 

CHECKING-IN/OUT

Rooms can be accessed from 3pm on the day of arrival, to allow time for cleaning and maintenance. Guests may check-in prior to this time, and store their luggage securely at the property until rooms are available. On the morning of departure, guests are kindly asked to check-out by 10:30 am at the latest, to allow us time to prepare for our next visitors. Any outstanding bills bust be settled prior to departure. Checking-in times are somewhat flexible, and attempts are always made to fit with guests' schedules. If you require an early or late arrival or departure time, please inquire about this well in advance, so it can be arranged. 

 

DAMAGES AND BREAKAGES

Guests are liable for any breakages or damages which they cause to the property and its contents. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we do reserve the right to charge for repair or replacement if we regard the damage as significant.

 

LIABILITY

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to have been caused by a negligent act by ourselves, or our employees, or our contractors, whilst acting in the course of employment.

 

DATA

Any data gathered during the course of your booking/stay may be held digitally, securely and complying with all relevant laws and regulations. If you have booked via a third-part reservation agency, your data is held in accordance with their own policies. Specific privacy policies are available on their respective websites.

 

YOUNG CHILDREN

For the comfort of our guests, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate children under 8yrs of age.

NON-SMOKING

We are a completely non-smoking residence. Smoking inside the property will always be regarded as significant damage, and you will be charged accordingly.

PETS

Unfortunately pets are not permitted.
